He began his Master’s Degree in Negotiation, Mediation, and Conflict Management and completed his Juris Doctorate at the University of Baltimore.
A member of the Maryland State Bar Association, the Baltimore County Bar Association, the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorney’s Association, and the American Bar Association. Mr. Okin is also certified in the concentration of family law, both in general mediation and child access mediation. Additionally, Mr. Okin has done extensive work in the field of personal injury and landlord/tenant matters.
When Mr. Okin is not at his Washington D.C. or Baltimore Law Office, he devotes much of his free time to supporting the American Cancer Society, specifically in the area of funding-raising for Breast Cancer and Lung Cancer research and the Mount Washington Pediatric Hospital for Children. Additionally, Mr. Okin takes pride in his annual sponsorship of the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program and in pet rescues where he is an active participant in the local community.
